Job Title: Contract Business Planning Assistant

Work Location: SEWS - Farmington Hills, Michigan (On-site position)

  

This is a contract, hourly-paid position requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week. 

 

Basic Purpose: 

The contract associate will perform cost registration duties. Responsibilities currently performed by full-time employees will be transferred to the contractor to increase the efficiency and value of these operations. 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Estimate the wire harness costs and provide support on this process.
  • Confirm the costs of parts whose unit prices are unknown to the Procurement Department. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a suitable field. 
  • 1-3 years of business accounting/finance experience. 
  • Excellent skills in the use of personal computers (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  • Advanced level Excel skills strongly preferred. 
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills. 
  • Business level Japanese skills required (reading, speaking and writing).
